A Cracking Burns Supper...

Our 2026 Burns Supper was everything it should be – great company,  inspirational poetry and speeches, and plenty of laughs along the way. From the moment the Chieftain Yvonne Rankin Constantine and her guests were piped into the ballroom, the atmosphere was set for a proper celebration of Rabbie Burns and all things Scottish.

The evening flowed through the much‑loved Burns Supper favourites, including a stirring Address to the Haggis from Danny Barron and a series of excellent toasts. The Immortal Memory by Neil McInnes paid fitting tribute to Burns himself, while the Toast to the Lassies by Taylor Smith and Reply fae the Lassies by Marie Lee brought humour, warmth and more than a few knowing smiles around the room.

Once the speeches wrapped up, ties loosened and the furniture shifted as the dance floor filled for a fantastic ceilidh led by the Ragin’ Ceilidh Band. With infectious energy and expert calling, they had everyone dancing – whether seasoned ceilidh regulars or first‑timers. A cracking night from start to finish and a Burns Supper to be proud of.

See you next year!
